Over the course of his career, Coburn produced on his own press eighty-three photogravure plates for four published books, along with six large photogravures. Perhaps the celebrated print of the entire opus is this luminous view of St. Paul’s Cathedral—an image so admired that he also included a smaller version in his 1909 volume London.
