Contemporary photographer Peter Bogardus is known for his limited-edition hand printed photogravure books. He received his MFA from the New York Academy of Art, studied large-format and documentary photography at the International Center of Photography, and studied photogravure with Lothar Osterberg and Jon Goodman. Peter was awarded Guggenheim Fellow in photography in 2012. This print is from his 2011 book, Seventeen Trees, Africa.
