These photogravures by Dujardin reflect the state of the art of photogravure at the turn of the century. Similar in scope and quality to the architectural photogravures produced by Otto Schmidt in Austria, these prints demonstrate the full potential of the process in conveying the ambiance and exactitude of such sublime structures and spaces.
