Geïllustreerd Weekblad voor Fotografie Various (Dutch)

Official Organ of the Amateur Photographers Association “Rotterdam.”Geïllustreerd Weekblad voor Fotografie (Illustrated Weekly Magazine for Photography). 1894–1910.

This Dutch photographic journal ran for 17 years, serving as an important platform for amateur photography in the Netherlands. Initially published in Apeldoorn by Laurens Hansma, an influential figure in promoting photography, the journal became the official organ of amateur photography associations in Nijmegen and later Rotterdam. From 1907 to 1910, it was published by W.J. Thieme & Co. in Zutphen. In 1910, the Weekblad was absorbed into Lux (1889–1927), another Dutch photography journal, with its editor J.J.M.M. van den Bergh joining Lux’s editorial staff. The journal’s history highlights the growth of photographic culture in the Netherlands and its strong ties to amateur associations. Each issue contained as many as twelve well crafted photogravures by now forgotten dutch photographers.
