By 1932 sheet fed gravure presses (rotary), which could accommodate sheets up to 29 in. x 43 in., operated at about 3,000-6,000 images (on one side of the paper) per hour depending on the work being done. [1]

This book is a good example of the quality that can be achieved with a rotogravure on a high volume web press. Images appear on both sides of the page.
