Blumenfeld, Erwin (Italian, 1897-1969)

Verve was a modernist Parisian art magazine published between 1937 and 1960. Verve included lithographs and rotogravures by the most prominent artists and photographers of the art scene of the first half of the 20th century. It is a fine example of the potential of machine gravure printing when combine with strong photographic imagery in the 1930’s.
